    Re: My new project

Thought the name sounded familiar. I see it's been a year now since we discussed this semi- 9862 monitor concept. Glad to see something's become of it. Hope there's some measurements when it's done. (hint, hint ) With the 414 filling in, they must have mids to 'die for'.

Hi Bfish and GM! Thanks for your good words! I do have measurements, but my attachments limit (160Kb) is over. What to do? GM, you are right, the mids are just fantastic! Anyway, bass is also very good. The internal volume is about 9 cu.ft and my LF is down to 45 Hz.

    Looks great.

Wouldn't mind pics of the side and back to see how the horns are attached.

    There are my measurement results:
the first pic is for each woofer/driver measured separate (with Xover) from 0,2m distance
the second pic is complete FR measured from 1m (3ft)

You're welcome! Ignoring what appears to be the room's impact below ~300 Hz and the need for some (more?) CD horn EQ to flatten/extend its response, it looks quite good.

Hi GM! Thanks for your comments!
First I would like to finish LF cabinets (including veneering) and after that I'll have enough time to play with horns/drivers

    Leland,
The horns are simply lie on the top of the cabinets - the design is not finished yet and the cabinets will be veneering soon
